How to establish your priorities and reduce overwhelm
Overwhelm. Have you ever experienced it? I say that jokingly (sadly), as overwhelm is a familiar feeling for most women. Overwhelm, according to Dictionary.com, is a verb to bury or drown beneath a huge mass, to defeat completely, and to give too much of a thing to (someone); inundate. I’m even overwhelmed by the definitions of overwhelm. But after thinking about it, I believe we give too much power to the word. Because we can dig ourselves out of the dirt, go into battle with armor and win, and say no to giving too much of ourselves.
Tricia Dege, Certified High-Performance Coach and founder of Mom Mastermind, believes that we do that by becoming crystal clear on our purpose, priorities, and plan of action. You can beat overwhelm and stop it in its tracks through simple methods and ways to manage your mindsets and calendars.
So grab a cup of coffee and get ready for some note-taking as Tricia and I chat about getting past the overwhelm of everything on your plate, establishing your priorities, and creating room to slot in some self-care.
Let’s dive in.
