How to pray when you don’t know what to say
Prayer is a beautiful opportunity to connect with God, but often, I find myself at a loss for words or highly distracted by the tasks of the day. From the moment I wake up in the morning, I have a to-do list running in my head. The thoughts of what I need to get done or want to achieve rush over me, and I find that when I sit down for my morning time with God, I don’t know what to say, where to start, or my mind wanders. I am lost if I don’t have a good devotional to guide me. I want that beautiful connection with Jesus every morning, and I end up feeling defeated as I walk away from my time with him knowing I missed the mark.
As I have spoken with many women about this topic, I have realized I am not alone. That is why I asked Rachel Britton to be on the show to talk about tangible ways you can pray when you don’t know what to say or when those pesky wandering thoughts won’t go away.
This topic couldn’t have come at a better time for me, and so I hope it helps you as much as I believe it will for me.
