Fruit Snack: the negative labels we wear

In this “fruit snack” episode (Galatians 5:22-23), we talk about the painful labels we wear and hold onto tightly.

Labels associated with things like alcohol, anorexia, anxiety, depression, PTSD, cheating, lying, and (insert your label here).

Our labels allow us to give glory to God for what he has done for us and what he will do for us. Even if we’re still walking through the pain of the labels we wear, it doesn’t mean he hasn’t saved us and can’t use us.

“Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.” 1 Timothy 1:15-16
